The electricity used by mankind at present is mainly divided into two kinds: That produced by generators and that produced by chemical reactions. The former, which involves thermal, hydraulic or nuclear power, manages to rotate a metal coil through a magnet to generate electricity from a generator. The latter are products like batteries that produce energy to provide electrical output through chemical reactions between different materials. As for solar power, it is the conversion of light energy into electricity. Wind power is similar to hydroelectric power, except that the wind provides the propeller to turn.
